Obituary of David Bonaparte, Jr.
David Bonaparte Jr. passed away unexpectedly, as a result of as automobile accident on January 4,2025.
David was born on November 4,1963, in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Elease Washington and David Bonaparte Sr. He was currently employed as a delivery driver with CP Craska Inc. in Ilion, NY. David was an avid chess player and a jack of all trades.
In memory of our beloved brother that always enjoyed wise cracks, and funny sayings: Yvette stop playing before I slap fire out of you. Keep playing with me. What up Lil Brother… You’re gonna leave this good paying job like you do all the other ones when you get fed up. This was always who he was, with jokes, sarcasm and a bit of critique behind it.
Dave, you will always be who you are, the one with lots of love for all the ones close to your heart! The one and only true brother, Uncle and Father figure to those that came into your life. A great friend to those you’ve met throughout the years as well as the best of the best friend to this family! We’re missing you like crazy as if you don’t already know. We’re missing you bad brother… REALLY BAD! We all are carrying heavy hearts because of the love we have for you. We all know you were taken away from us too soon. God always has plans to take the good ones in a hurry. Let us just say he has a great one with him now! We love you always and forever, not only in our hearts but deep down in our souls.
David leaves us to mourn: Jackie Colon, aka his RIDE OR DIE. The one that stayed with him through his best times and worst times. The one that doesn’t need a ring to be his wife. He also leaves behind sisters Deanna Washington, Yvette White, and the other sister that he never speaks to much Ella Washington. Ex-brother-in-law Ricardo (Sno) White, Brothers Shawn Washington and one other brother that’s rarely spoke of Eric Bonaparte. Nephews and nieces, Desmond (BAM) Washington, Rickeena (Keena) White, Ladashia (Dai Dai) White, Tahkasha (Gurdie) Adams, Amante (Durz) Washington, Omari (The Afroman) Washington, Javien (Yah-Yah) Washington, Dakota (Kota) Sanabria and known as his nephew as well, Eric (Lil E) Case, Jaleelol (Leelo) Case and a number of nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews. Dave is welcomed with open arms into God’s kingdom by his mother Elease (Lisa) Washington, his father David Bonaperte Sr., his nephew Henri (Heathcliff) Washington and his great-nephew Courtney (Poppas) White. Wrap your arms tightly around Courtney and let him know he is greatly missed as well.

To My Brother
It really would be wonderful
To be with you each day…
To laugh with you
And to talk with you
And to pass the time away
But since that isn’t possible
The next best thing to do
Is look up to the heavens and know you’re there
All your loved ones are missing you here
Not only right now today at this moment
But for always forever throughout the years
Forever going to miss you…
