Mr. Russell F. Fasone, 85, of North Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at the Wynn Hospital, Utica.

     Russell was born in Utica, on July 23, 1939, the son of the late Joseph and Fannie (Merica) Fasone.  He was a lifelong Utica resident.  Russell proudly served in the US Army from 1959 and was honorably discharged in 1962.  On October 12, 1962, Russell was united in marriage with Maria E. Rossi, a loving and devoted union of 58 years until Maria’s death on July 7, 2020.  For many years Russell was employed by Canada Dry Bottling Co and then Coca-Cola.  After retiring, enjoyed his part-time job working at Chanatry's.

     Russell is survived by his loving children Christopher Fasone, and Shannon Fasone, both of Utica, his adored grandchildren Christina (Matt) English, Russell (Theresa) Fasone, 4 special great grandchildren.  He was predeceased by his parents Joseph, Fannie and a grandson Brandon.

     In keeping with Russell’s wishes, there will be no public services or calling hours.  The family will gather privately and at their convenience.
