MaryAnn Farley Gaeta, 49, of Deerfield, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Mount Sinai Hospital in NY City. MaryAnn was born in Utica on August 30, 1966 the daughter of David and Patricia (DePaul) Farley. She was a graduate of Whitesboro High School and earned her bachelor's degree from SUNY IT. At one time MaryAnn was married to Joseph Gaeta. For many years, she was employed as a pharmaceutical Representative with Schering-Plough Corp. and later worked as a senior diabetes specialist with Eli-Lilly Company. MaryAnn was a member of the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, volunteered with the Boilermaker Classic, attended Mass at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Whitesboro and truly loved animals, especially horses. She will be remembered for her contagious laugh, beaming smile, and generous nature. Her magnetic personality and love for her family and friends was evident from the moment you met her. She was a one of a kind, mother, daughter, sister and friend and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. MaryAnn is survived by her beloved daughter, Ariana Kristian Gaeta of Deerfield; her parents, David and Patricia Farley of Deerfield; brother and sister-in-law, David and Diana Farley of Deerfield and four cherished nephews, David Farley and his fiancée, Kate, Drew Farley and Colleen, Derek Farley and Dustin Farley as well as many cousins who were close to her heart. Relatives and friends are invited to MaryAnn's memorial Mass of Christian burial on Friday, October 23, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Whitesboro. Her interment will be held at the convenience of her family. Memorial calling hours for family and friends are Thursday, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica. Those wishing to make a donation in MaryAnn's memory, please consider St. Jude Children Research Hospital or Steven-Swan Humane Society. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
