SCHUYLER - Carlton F. Reinhardt, 75, of Schuyler, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2015 at his home with his family by his side. Carl was born November 15, 1939, in Ilion, NY, the son of Albert and Myrtle (Peters) Reinhardt. He was raised and educated in Whitesboro, graduating from Whitesboro High School. Carl then earned his Associates Degree from MVCC. He then went on to serve his country with the US Army. On January 24, 1964, Carl married Catherine Gage in Holland Patent Presbyterian Church. He was a computer technician, employed through the years with UNIVAC, Momentum, MDS, and Par Tech. He later worked for Masonic Home and Lowe's, retired in 2002. Carl was an outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing, and was an avid New York Yankee fan. He was of the Methodist faith. Carl is survived by his beloved wife Catherine, Schuyler; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dean and Dawn Reinhardt, Wisconsin, Dale and VianaNoreen Reinhardt, Philippines; and nine grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister and brother-in-law, Carole and Earl Haman, Schuyler; six brothers and four sisters-in-law, Norman Reinhardt, Ilion, David and Elizabeth Reinhardt, Whitesboro, Frederick Reinhardt, Schuyler, Neil and June Reinhardt, Kentucky, Gary and Linda Reinhardt, Frankfort, and Gene and Diane Reinhardt, New Jersey. Besides his parents, Carl is predeceased by a son, Michael Scott Reinhardt. A graveside memorial service will be held for Carl on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 11:00 am at West Schuyler Cemetery, with Rev. Cindy Makarchuk presiding. Those wishing may donate to the West Schuyler Volunteer Fire Dept. in Carl's memory. Arrangements are entrusted to the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., North Utica.
