Mrs. Patricia J. Eilers, 69, of Madison, formerly of Meyers Ave., Yorkville, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare in New Hartford with her loving family by her side. Patricia was born in Rome, NY on August 22, 1946 the daughter of Brice and Esther (Newtown) LaValley and received her education at Waterville Central High School. In Virginia in February of 1962, Patricia married Henry W. Eilers, a devoted union of 49 years until Henry's death in 2011. At one time, Patricia was employed with Waterville Knit and for many years as a sewing supervisor with H.P.K. in Utica. She was a past member of the Oriskany Falls Fire Department Auxiliary, a parishioner of St. Joseph & St. Patrick Church in Utica and enjoyed Camping, Puzzles and loved animals and children. Mrs. Eilers is survived by three daughters and one son-in-law, Brenda Moon and Paul Larmon of Hubbardsville, Betty and James Williams of Deansboro and Belinda Donahue of Madison; one son Edward Eilers of Utica; three sisters one brother-in-law, Adeline Tanner of Richfield Springs, Alice and George Cushman of Waterville and Joan Lewis of Oriskany Falls; 9 cherished grandchildren, 4 beloved great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and in-laws. She was predeceased by a son, Henry Eilers, a brother, Walter LaValley and a sister Beatrice June. Mrs. Eilers' funeral will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 9:15 a.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica and 10:00 at St. Joseph & St. Patrick Church where her Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. Her Rite of Committal and burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Yorkville.
