Clara Lacomb, 75 of North Utica passed away on Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Faxton-St. Luke's Healthcare. Clara was born in Utica on November 5, 1939, the daughter of James and Mary (Redner) Waterman Sr. On July 25, 1956, Clara was united in marriage to Joseph (Bill) Lacomb, a blessed union of 57years until his passing in 2013. Clara, was employed with Teamsters Local #182 and General Electric. She was a member of St. Mark's Church in North Utica. Clara loved arts and crafts and traveling. Clara and Bill especially looked forward to going to Florida for the winter. Clara is survived by two daughters, Debbie Muzzy, New York Mills, and Donna Yurecka and husband, James, Daytona Beach, FL, a son-in-law, Kenneth Muzzy, Schuyler, two grandchildren, Stephanie Roberts and husband Sean, North Utica and Kenneth Muzzy Jr., Schuyler, two great grandchildren, Annmarie Muzzy, Ilion and Kyle Muzzy, VA,, one brother, James Waterman Jr., North Utica and Judy Neal and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Stanton Oliver and a sister-in-law, Linda Waterman. Clara's funeral will be held on Friday, February 27, 2015 at 9:15 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica and at 10:00 from St. Mark's Church, N. Utica. A spring burial will take place in the West Schuyler Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are Thursday from 4-7. The family would like to thank Dr. Nabeel Elamir for his care and compassion.
