Ann M. Ciccone, 83, of the Lutheran Care Community formerly of Utica passed away on Friday January 30, 2015 . Ann was born in Scranton, PA on February 21, 1931 a daughter of David M. and Mary W. (Duggan) Lewis. In Utica on September 25, 1954 Ann was united in marriage to Vincent N. Ciccone, a blessed union of 29 years until his death on May 2, 1983. At one time Ann was employed with Hugh Johnson's Stock Exchange and later at the North Utica Senior Center a job she enjoyed very much. She was a member of St. Mary of Mt. Carmel /Blessed Sacrament Church, Utica. Ann always enjoyed traveling with the seniors working on puzzle books and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy ever night. Ann is survived by a daughter, Roxanne M. Ciccone-Johns and husband, Ronald W. Johns of Yorkville, a son, Vincent N. Ciccone, Jr. of Utica, two sisters, Dolores M. LoRusso of Frankfort, NY, and Rita A. Lewis of Scranton, PA, two brothers, Robert Lewis and wife Mary of Newport, NY and Gerald Lewis of NC, a cousin who was like a sister, Jean Zielinski of Holland Patent, a special friend, Vicky David, Utica and many cherished nieces, nephews and cousins. Ann was predeceased by sisters and brothers, David Lewis, Butch Lewis, Claire Ebersole, Audrey Burrier, Mary Rinkus. Mrs. Ciccone's funeral will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 11:00 from St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/ Blessed Sacrament Church, Utica. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Utica. There are no calling hours. Those so wishing may make donations to the Stevens-Swan Humane Society in Ann's memory.
