Jeffrey D. "Brownie" Brown, passed away peacefully, Monday December 22, 2014, with his loving family by his side at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady. Jeff was born February 1, 1982 in Hamilton, NY. He attended Clinton schools then worked at his family's business, Brownies Tent & Awnings from 1998 thru 2013 as foreman in the tent rental operations. Jeff attended Calvary Gospel Church in New York Mills with his loving grandmother, Mickey Brown. Jeff's interests included hockey, which he played with several teams in Clinton, swimming, fishing at his family's camps in Forestport and Bradley Brook Lake, skiing and snowboarding, digging and collecting fossils and crystals but mainly traveling with his friends. Jeff crisscrossed the country following his favorite bands seeing a large part of the country from New Orleans to San Francisco. Jeff had a great love of animals especially his buddy Ringo. His sense of humor always brought smiles to his family and friends and his gentle compassionate nature will be missed. Jeff will be missed by his mother, Laurie and Raj Yadav, his father, Jeffrey Brown and Melissa Wratten, his sister Jennifer Brown and Jason Dodge, uncles and aunts, Michael and Andrea Brown, Greg Brown, Cynthia Brown, Eric Brown, Mark Peckham and Mike Peckham, nine cousins and extended family and his many, many friends including special friends, Jeremy Wuest and Mandy Machold. Jeffrey was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Mary and Quentin Brown and maternal grandfather, Douglas Peckham. Jeff was in the care of angels at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, the Center for Donation and Transplant in Albany, and now in the care of the angels and God in heaven. A memorial service for Jeff will be held at 5 pm on Sunday December 28, 2014 at the Heintz Funeral Home, 10 E. Park Row, Clinton. Calling hours at the funeral home are prior to the service from 2 - 5. Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
