Chad A. Jennings, 37, of NY Mills, formerly of Utica, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 1, 2018 due to complications from Diabetes. Chad was born in New Hartford on February 4, 1981, the son of Wayne T. and Sharon A. (Buczek) Jennings. He was raised and educated in Utica and was a graduate of Proctor High School. Chad was employed with Big Frog 104. He was an avid Bowler, participating in local bowling leagues, was a member of the Knights of St. John’s in Utica and attended church at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish in Utica. Chad also volunteered for many local events, including; the Great American Irish Festival, Herkimer County Fair, Boilermaker, America’s Greatest Heart Run and Walk, and the St. Patrick’s Day Parade. Chad is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Kim Jennings of Whitesboro; sister and brother-in-law, Tonya and Ken Williams of Vernon; nieces and nephews, Jordan Ritter, Anthony Ritter, Kerianna Williams, Delaney Jennings and Christopher Jennings; his aunt and Godmother, Bonnie Morehead and her husband Joe of Rome; his uncle and Godfather, John “J’ Buczek of Marcy; his uncle, Ed Jennings and his wife Janice of Utica and his girlfriend Patty Foley, as well as many cousins. Chad was predeceased by his parents, Wayne and Sharon. Chad’s funeral will be held on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at 8:45 a.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 1517 Whitesboro St., Utica and 9:30 at St. Mary of Mt. Carmel/Blessed Sacrament Parish, where his Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated. His Rite of Committal and burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Yorkville.
