Anne O'Hara, 90, a lifelong resident of North Utica passed away on April 5, 2014. Anne was born in Utica on January 15, 1924, a daughter of James P. and Elizabeth (Weber) Moore. Anne married Michael Joseph O'Hara on September 17, 1949 in Utica, a loving union of 57 years. Joe passed away on December 29, 2006. Anne was a devout Catholic and was a parishioner of St. Peter's Church in North Utica. She served as an election Inspector for more than 50 years. Anne treasured the love and good times shared with close friends and family including three generations of nieces and nephews, all of whom considered her very special. Anne was predeceased by two brothers John Moore and James Moore and by two sisters, Elizabeth Fisher and Mary Tarkowski. Mrs. O'Hara's funeral will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2014 at 12:00 at St. Peter's Church, North Utica. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. There are no calling hours. At the conclusion of the Funeral Mass the family will receive those in attendance. Anne's family wishes to thank Hospice and all caregivers who were so very kind to Anne. Those wishing to do so may make donations to Hospice and Palliative Care in Anne's memory.
