Doreen A. Robinson-Profit, 42, of New Hartford passed away on unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 28, 2014. Doreen was born in New Hartford on January 11, 1972, the daughter of Richard and Diane (Demma) Robinson. She was raised in Utica, attended John F. Kennedy High School and was a graduate of Proctor High School. She later attended Mohawk Valley Community College. Doreen was married to Douglas Stoddard. At one time, she was employed as a claims representative with Blue Cross Blue Shield. Doreen was an animal lover and generously volunteered her time at Stevens-Swan Humane Society. She was also very proud that she was able to help counsel recovering addicts at various support centers in the area. Doreen is survived by two sons, Matthew Robinson of N. Utica and Christian Stoddard of West Winfield; her parents, Richard and Diane Robinson of N. Utica; one brother and sister-in-law, Daniel and Kelly Robinson of Omaha, NE, as well as aunts, Uncles and cousins. Doreen's funeral and burial will be held privately at the convenience of her family. There are no calling hours.
