Gerald M. (Jerry) Reginelli, Jr., 62, passed away on Friday September 14, 2018 at the Roswell Park Cancer Institute in Buffalo, NY, with his loving family by his side. Jerry was born in Utica on September 16, 1955, a son of Peggy (Fanelli) Reginelli and the late Gerald M. Reginelli, Sr. He was a graduate of New Hartford High School and Albany School of Pharmacy. On July 16, 1983 in St. Mary’s Church in Utica, he was united in marriage to Lynn Leuthauser. In the 1980’s Jerry worked alongside his brothers in his father’s painting business, FG West & Company taking control upon his father’s death in 1985. He was most recently employed as a Pharmacist at Mohawk Correctional Facility in Rome. Jerry was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church in New Hartford and the Porsche Club. Jerry will be remembered for his charming and easy going personality but most of all as a devoted husband, son, father and grandfather who cherished his family. In his spare time he enjoyed taking his Porsche out for a ride. Jerry is survived by his beloved wife, Lynn, his mother, Peggy, of New Hartford, a son, Gerald M. Reginelli III and wife, Lisa, of Whitesboro, a daughter, Christina Reginelli and husband, Lukas Aeschlimann, of Frankfort, two grandchildren, Gerald M. Reginelli IV and Ruby Aeschlimann and one due in November and two brothers and a sister, F. Richard Reginelli and Lisa DiNardo, of Clinton, Lydia Marlow and husband, Steve, of Burnt Hills, NY and David Reginelli and wife, Patty, of Elmhurst, IL. He is also survived by two brothers-in-law, Joseph Leuthauser, of Deerfield and Philip and Claudine Leuthauser, of Tampa, FL and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Gerald in 1985 and a brother-in-law, Norman Leuthauser in 2011. Jerry’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at 11:00 at St. John the Evangelist Church, New Hartford. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
