Westmoreland - Wendelin "Butch" R. Kneller, 72, of Westmoreland, formerly of Chadwicks, passed away on Friday, September 13, 2013. Butch was born on November 23, 1940 in Utica, the son of Wendelin J. and Mary (Hughes) Kneller. He was raised and educated in Utica and Chadwicks. Butch had worked for Cloverleaf Dairies and later for Agri-pole Buildings, Inc. before starting his own business, Kneller's Construction. He was a member of the Schilling-Burns-Young VFW Post # 9591 Men's Auxiliary as well as the Clark Mills American Legion Post # 26 S.A.L.. Butch will always be remembered for his generosity. Butch is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Arthur and Nancy Kneller, Chadwicks; four sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Katherine and Nelson Cole, PA, Sandy and Robert Dulan, Utica, Rose and Jerry Bellows, PA, Christine and Mike Licari, OH; his longtime companion, Gert Flint, and her children, Ted and Kelly Flint, Kathi and Don Merrell, Michael and Rhonda Flint, all from Westmoreland, Shelly and George Humphrey, MA; as well as ten grandchildren and one great grandchild. Also surviving are several aunts and uncles, and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be held for Mr. Kneller on Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. Patrick's - St. Anthony of Padua Church in Chadwicks with Rev. Abraham Esper presiding. Interment, in New Forest Cemetery, will take place privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are entrusted to the Heintz Funeral Home, 10 East Park Row, Clinton. Those wishing may donate to COCVAC in Butch's memory.
