Two years ago I visited my Aunt Agnas for what would be the last time. It was a brief visit with my wife and two young daughters in tow. We saw her at the house she and my Uncle Martin had called home for 40 years. A home I had spent hundreds of hours in during my childhood. The house was a museum into my days as a boy, a tangible happy reminder of the countless wonderful hours I spent with them. As we went to leave, Agnas said she worried that whether or not I, or my sister would ever forget her and Uncle Martin. I assured that was impossible for so many loving reasons and wonderful memories. I have many of the tools Uncle Martin had used to fix my bike, build things with me and my sister as kids, etc. I explained to AQunt Agnas that literally rarely a day goes by I do not pick up or look at one of the tools in my garage that came from him. And every time I do, there is an immediate flash back memory and thought of both of them. That has been the pattern for the past 35 years since we moved away from being their next door neighbors. I promise that will continue every other day or so for the rest of my life, that I will think of you and Uncle Martin. God bless, with love and gratitude, Dan Mahoney
