Agnes I. Bambic, 96, of the Folts Home, Herkimer and formerly of North Utica passed away on Saturday, September 11, 2010. Agnes was born in Ilion, NY on July 23, 1914 a daughter of Jess and Carrie (Hanson) Brewer. She received her education in the Frankfort school system. At St. Augustine's Church, Ilion on August 2, 1935 Agnes was united in marriage to Martin E. Bambic a blessed union of 52 years until his passing away on June 16, 1987. For many years until her retirement in 1976 Agnes was employed with the Sperry UNIVAC Co. Agnes is survived by two sisters, Lovisa Enea and Jennie Siver both of Frankfort, two nieces, Patricia Enea, Frankfort and Barbara Reynolds, GA, a family friend, Ray Kamerer, Frankfort and several nieces and nephews in the Bambic family. Mrs. Bambic's funeral will be held on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 9:00 from the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., North Utica and at 9:30 from St. Peter's Church, North Utica. Burial will be in Oakview Cemetery, Frankfort. Calling hours at the funeral home are Tuesday from 4-7. Those so wishing may make donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in Agnes memory.
