Dear Shirley, I was so sorry I did not know your mother was in the hospital until it was too late. I would have certainly visited her. I talked with her on the phone probably a week or two before she was hospitalized. She was a good friend to my mother for many years and I appreciate that. I was happy to have known her as well. Please accept our sincere sympathy for your loss; I know she will be dearly missed by her family.
