Alice was my mother's sponsor when she joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars (7393 in Yorkville NY). Many years later I learned that Alice and my Mom were third cousins. I wish I had known Alice. I would have loved to have known whether they were aware of their relationship. My Mom died in 1980, I did not know then and could not ask her. I remember as a child Alice and Don at the VFW. They were part a large group of people who knew how to laugh and have fun. Kathy Williams PS: I am going to include my contact info; would love to hear from family.
