Here is a message from our son-in-law and daughter, John and Melanie Mickle. Although I didn't know your cousin it saddens me to hear of the passing of another one of America's greatest heroes. The soldiers that fought in WW II were some of the bravest men the world has ever know. D-Day, the Battle of the Bulge, and the other campaigns in Europe shaped the course of history as we know it. Then for your cousin to come back and pursue a productive career is testament to the courage and spirit of the men and women of the Greatest Generation ever known. George Steuart's whole family should be extremely proud.
