We met Madeline on her 89th birthday in Annapolis. We were neighbors of Joan and Ken.She was remarkable with her zest for life. We shared several Christmases when she came to visit Joan and Ken. Joan has been a wonderful daughter over the years, and we saw love and devotion that she had for her mother. All of Madeline's friends will have such fond memories of her, as she gave so unconditionally of herself. Though we have never seen"camp",it has always been a fond memory hearing Joan talk about her mom playing cards and being the social butterfly of all the activities. Joan and John will always cherish the memories as will the rest her friends who were privileged to know her. Our love, and prayers are with the entire family at this time. Dick and Sandy James
