I've known Sparky since I was a youngster back in the 50's. My dad would take me to clambakes of The Fur Fin Feather Club and there I got to know the great guys who made up the club in those earlier years and Sparky was one of the best. I remember playing softball with him. He could hit the ball a ton and never used a glove. He had the biggest strongest hands and never missed catching the ball. Most of those members have passed on now but the club lives on in their spirit. I miss all of them and I'll especially miss Sparky.
