Not only on the New York State Canal, but crossing Oneida Lake[in any kind of weather] or when he and his crew were down in the New York Harbor a few years ago. Jimmy was a very giving and lovable human being who befriended me when I first started working on the canal and brought me to his house and made me a part of his family. I know of his generosity and kindness first hand. So it is with a very heavy and sad heart that I pray that the Lord embraces him into his kingdom and that God's love comforts you all in this difficult time. I will miss him but I believe that people you love are never gone because when you hold on to the memories and speak about them often they are always with you. I love and miss you all. Jerry
