Paramus, NJ - Jennie Borowiec, 103, formerly of Lowville and Utica NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at her daughter, Bev Keppler's home surrounded by her loving family and friends. Jennie was born on February 10, 1916 in Brooklyn, NY. Jennie was predeceased by her husband Edward, her son Robert and daughter-in-law Marie. Jennie leaves behind her loving daughter Beverly Keppler and son-in-law Kenneth Keppler, seven grandchildren Bill Borowiec, Kim Moore (Dennis), Bonnie Borowiec (Mark Herloski), Tammy Conley (Corey), Kris Keppler (Jen), Denise Hornidge (Mike), Lori Chen (Michael) and eleven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by 8 brothers and sisters. Jennie and her husband Edward operated the Ranch Motel and "Esso" gas station in Utica NY for 30 years. Jennie loved to bake, especially for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a unique affinity for doing laundry for others. She was well known for her love of chocolate :) Jennie was known for taking in others when they needed help. She loved having visitors to her home and in her final years she loved sitting on her daughter and son-in-law's front porch waving to all who passed by. Her hugs and smiles could melt away any troubles you were having - she was a genuinely kind soul and the world was truly blessed having her in it. Visitation will be Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 1-3 PM at Heintz Funeral Home 408 Herkimer Rd. Utica, NY followed by a funeral service at the conclusion of visitation.
