Jeffrey T. Kuzniar, 65, of Deerfield, passed away on December 18, 2020 at Faxton-St. Luke’s Healthcare in New Hartford. Jeffrey was born in Utica, on April 6, 1955, the son of Joseph and Rose (Romanick) Kuzniar. Jeffrey was an avid collector of baseball hats, cowboy hats and was a huge NY Yankees fan. He loved bowling and especially enjoyed watching his uncle Joe, bowl in his weekly bowling league. Jeffrey could often be found walking around N. Utica, keys attached to his belt loop, making friends with everyone he came into contact with. Breakfast at Denny’s and family gatherings were a few of his most favorite things to do, and he was especially proud to have participated in the Special Olympics. He was of the Catholic faith. Jeffrey is survived by his sister, Dorene (Jerry) Gortner; brother, James (Patty) Kuzniar and twin sister, Gina Pontonero; sister-in-law, Linda Kuzniar, as well as several nieces and nephews, with special mention of his nephew, Joe Babicz and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Rose, sister, Sharon Coleman and brother, Jack Kuzniar. Jeffrey’s funeral will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the Heintz Funeral Home, 408 Herkimer Rd., N. Utica. His Rite of Committal and burial will be in Holy Trinity Cemetery in Yorkville.
