Obituary of Charles W. Clarke

Charles W. Clarke, Sr., 62, of Utica, passed away on Thursday January 14, 2021 with his loving family by his side. Charles was born in Utica, on March 15, 1958, a son of Warren and Dorothy (Callahan) Clarke. He was raised and educated locally. On November 20, 1982, at St. Paul’s Church, Whitesboro, he was united in marriage to Susan Archer. He was employed with various trucking companies in the Utica area. Charles was a member of the VFW #6001 of Yorkville. Charles always enjoyed cooking and through the years became a master chef. Charles is survived by his wife, Susan; a daughter, Michelle (Rick) Ellis, Utica; two sons, Charles Clarke, Jr. (Mariah Angerosa), Utica and Steven Clarke (Ashley Rotach), Marcy; two grandchildren, Corina Clarke and Jaxson Clarke; two brothers, Allen Clarke, Sr. and Patrick Clarke, both of Utica; in-laws, Jim and Frankie Archer, Don and Mariann Archer and Debbie Charlton and Nathan Lyke and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers and a sister, Daniel Clarke, William (Jean) Clarke, and Donna Clarke, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ken and Betty Archer and a special friend, Steven Zaik. The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dr. Samuel Gooldy and his staff for all the care given to Charles Services for Mr. Clarke will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
