So very sorry for your loss. John was a wonderful man with a heart of gold. When he was young, he used to visit our farm with his parents. Thoughts and prayers are with you!

Farewell to a kind and generous friend who lived a life largely dedicated to bettering circumstances for countless people and fur babies. Adieu John! Thank you for the tremendous caring uplift you have given to all of us who were fortunate enough to fall within your sphere of influence.

John was a dear friend for over 70 years. We were not allowed to visit him last summer. He will be greatly miss and visits to NY will be sad. We have planted some of his flowers in VA. Each spring the blooms will remind us of this friend. He was part of our wedding party in 1965. Our hearts are broken as we think of him. He will always be in our memories. God Bless. Johnny call me. My wife Sharmane and I met John shortly after moving to Utica when he was manager of Riverside Savings Bank. He was a great friend ever since. Johnny babysat our children, and John gould be relied on whenever a hand was needed or a favor sought. Of course, it worked both ways! The last time I got to see John was January 2020. I have been visiting him regular at the Lutheran Home and brought him some new glasses before going to Florida. Unfortunately, by the time we were back, everthing was in Lockdown and I never got up to see him again.
Sahr and I will miss John and alll the good times we have had with him and other mutual friends.
