I want to thank my siblings these past few yrs for going the extra mile for mom and dad especially this yr , whether it was taking them to dr appointments, stores, or lunch. I want to thank all my cousins for their support and loving care throughout this unique situation, also a big thank you to our cousin dave elacqua who worked tirelessly putting the funeral all together I did not realize the amount of work that has to be done we saw it behind closed doors with cries, laughs, food and drinks thanks cuz. I want to thank peter, vinny, joe elacqua with the singing and playing the instruments during the mass an exceptional job like always and a thank you to dave's son and vinny's daughter who came from out of town to play their instruments. thank you so much. A big thank you to all the people and businesses that brought food, drinks, dessert to my parents house wow it never stopped. mom and dad it goes to show what great people you were and it showed for several days at your house. mom and dad there is a tribute today at my work 230 pm with some music, a speech by me , then a dvd it will be packed. I love you and miss you daily, one more thing dad yanks and red sox this weekend send down some prayers cause yanks may need it.

to mom and dad thank you for 50 great yrs you have given me I could not ask for two wonderful parents. it is with heavy heart the days go by and I miss you more and more. the way this all went down was a big shock but at the same time was a blessing, you always said you wanted to pass away together and god granted your wish. its been a difficult two weeks going to your house knowing i'm not gonna see you anymore, the outpouring of support and all the wonderful things people are saying to me is very comforting during this difficult time. i'm gonna miss all the lunches we had especially last 10 yrs whether is was at a restaurant or just at your home. thank you for everthing you did for me I miss you, I love you, I cherish you. my heart aches may both of you rest in peace. While I did not know your mom and dad, I remember you so clearly from Mt. Carmel School. Even though I was downstairs teaching the little kindergarteners, I fondly recall all the hellos and good humor you and your friends brought to my days. You and your classmates were 7th and 8th graders the years I taught at the school. One thing I know, your parents must have been exceptional people, who raised a very respectful, thoughtful, good kid. When you know someone all your life your memories flood a room. Growing up they were always there, Joe's signature knock at our door, playing cards on a Friday night, staying at their house for several days when my brother John was born. Now mind you they had 5 kids and we had 6 John was number 7. The door was always open and Joanne was always welcoming. And her "oh honey" Everytime she saw me. I will always remember their love and kindness and that time she called my mom to tell her John was rolling down Albany St. In the carriage while Maria and I were watching him. He might have been 2 or 3 weeks old. I loved them not dearly and can't imagine this world without them. We love you all and our hearts are broken with yours!
