We are sorry to hear of Joyce's death. Our condolences to the family and friends on this sad occasion. She was a spark of life that was always smiling and laughing. Dear Jim,
May it bring you comfort in knowing that we feel blessed to have known Joyce and honored to call her our friend. In our difficult times she gave us courage and a sense of belonging. She filled our lives with happiness and sweet feelings that we will carry in our hearts forever. Joyce was a beautiful person both inside and out. Life is full of wonderful gifts but none so special as the gift of friends! We thank you for your friendship.
Jim although we are far apart in miles, please know that we are together in heart and spirit and we are thinking of you in these difficult days.
We pray that your memories of Joyce will give you peace. In time these memories will become a treasure for you to hold on to and we pray that these memories will help to fill the hole that you feel in your heart today.
We know that we can't take away your sorrow, however we can send you our love and friendship and our prayers for your healing. May the love of friends and family help to comfort you.

Joyce was a wonderful wife and partner for over 46 years. I am totally heart broken over her loss and will never get over losing her. We were both blessed with such a loving family, relatives and dear friends. Joyce was my mentor, always gave me sound advice and always knew the right thing to do in any situation. I will miss buying her gifts, dinners and especially taking her on the sunset rides that she just loved. I will miss her smile, laughter and sense of humor. My life will not be the same without her by my side. I am comforted by the fact that she can now rest in peace. I can not thank Hospice of the Valley enough for the compassionate care they gave Joyce and everything they did to help make her comfortable in her time of need. God Bless her soul, we will be together again. And for those that ask: Yes, she was the badminton champion from the State of Nebraska and No, she wasn't a cook. Your Loving Husband, Jim
