My condolences to Darleen and the rest of the family on your loss. I got to know Bill when he was DPW commissioner, and I was impressed at the way he always maintained his dignity (and sense of humor) under the most trying conditions. Later, I would often find an excuse to drive from Rome to the Utica transfer station just to reminisce and to enjoy his big smile. He will be greatly missed.
