Mr. Fox was a phenomenal teacher and a great inspiration. He was my AP Math teacher my senior year. He was also my coach! As a member of Conard's (first-ever, I believe) Math Team, he guided us to a first-place win in the Capital Area Math League. He was a creative, thoughtful and completely dedicated educator with a subtle and dry sense of humor. I remember going back to Conard to visit him after my freshman year of college to thank him for preparing me so well. He was quite humble and wanted no part of feeling like he was part of a larger scheme of imparting a love of livelong learning. "I'm just a math teacher," he said. But I knew he was so much more. I feel fortunate to have had him as my teacher.
