Obituary of Daniel A. Roy

    Mr. Daniel A. Roy, 61, of Schuyler, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at his home.

     Daniel was born in Utica, on January 8, 1962, the son of Roger W. and Florence E. (Bickford) Roy.  He was raised in Utica and attended John F. Kennedy High School. At one time, Daniel was employed with WRUN, WKTV, Big Frog 104 as “James Pond.” He was control operator with PAX and ION Television in Syracuse.  Daniel was an avid TV trivia enthusiast and was of the Methodist faith.

     Mr. Roy is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, David and Suzanne Roy of N. Utica and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Roger and Florence.

     A private burial in Crown Hill Memorial Park in Kirkland, will be held at a later date.
