Jennifer & family, sincere condolences for a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother.
Sorry for the late communication as I live far away and just received the sad news.
I only met your Mom once...in July of 1981, at your Dad's wake and funeral. But I felt like I'd known her for years. Bill constantly spoke of his beloved "May"was one of those hundreds of "guys in Blue", honoring a fallen "Brother" in the line of duty. You see, I was assigned to B Squad at Utica Police Dept. Your father, already a veteran, was our Radio Operator, light duty, before returning to street duty, the result of a long previous auto accident injury.
Assigned to another Squad, I actually handed over the keys to Car 11 to him at Midnight that fateful July (17th?) night. He seemed happy to be back "on the street" where his heart was, he said.
My personal feeling is one of Hope and Joy that they're now again together, with your sister and other loved one's for eternity.
God bless you and your family and may they RIP.
Sincerely, Steve Graham

To May’s family, it is with deepest sympathies that I am writing this. I just couldn’t believe it when I saw it. I worked with your Mom in the Court system, we we’re actually pretty close friends for quite a while and as life goes we lost track of each other. She was one of the sweetest, kindest, nicest people that I ever meet. She had a great sense of humor and that funny look that she would give when she wanted to show that “oh really look”.. I regret that we let life get in our way and it’s been so long since I seen her. God has gained a beautiful angel, and may she rest in peace.
