Mr. William N. Boucher, Jr., 60, 0f N. Utica, passed away on Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Utica, with his loving family by his side.

William was born in New Hartford, on June 24, 1963, the son of William N., Sr. and Jean E. (Zalewski) Boucher.  He was raised in Utica, was a 1981 graduate of Utica Free Academy and attended MVCC. At one time, William was employed with Utica Cutlery Company and most recently was an antique dealer in his family’s business, Antique’s & Such in Utica. He had an awesome eye for antique’s and often referred to it as “Getting His Junk.” Bill was a free spirit and very adventuresome who loved life and lived it to the fullest. He enjoyed the open road riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and loved trips to Florida. Bill was a compassionate man with a heart of gold and was always the first to help a friend, family member or even a stranger in need. He was of the Catholic faith.

Mr. Boucher is survived by his three adored children, William “B” Boucher III of Utica, Paige “Punk” Boucher and Daniel Coleman of Utica and Ahlana Boucher of Utica; two loving sisters, Deborah Boucher-Cardinal of Deerfield and Karen Boucher of N. Utica, as well as aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and great nephews and his beloved canine companion, Marley. He was predeceased by his parents, William and Jean.

In keeping with Bill’s wishes, there are no calling hours. A celebration of life, to honor Bill will be held at a later date.

Bill’s family extends their sincerest gratitude to Paul, Nadine, Jimmy, Danny, Mark and the West Utica Boys for the many years of friendship you shared with him.  A special thank you to Aunt Carol, for the many calls and long visits you shared with Bill in his time of need.
