So sorry to hear about Laura. A wonderful person taken way to soon. We always admired her for so many reasons. She was outstanding at everything she did from being a mom, friend, business women we could go on and on. I had the opportunity to work for Laura at the Witcher Mill while I was working at Chicago Market also. Her decorating and merchandising flair were awesome. I had a tree we decorated together at her first store that she gave me for my house for 30 years when she moved stores. The tree was beautiful just like her inside and out. Every Christmas we would talk about it when I visited with her at the store. Laura has left a beautiful legacy to all that we’re blessed to be in her life. She will be missed by so many people who’s life she has touched.

I am so very sorry to learn that Laura passed away. My heart breaks. She was especially kind to my mother, who suffered from dementia. Laura demonstrated kindness toward my mother every time we shopped at the Wicker Mill. Laura was a life saver during the height of COVID. She had those wonderful shows on Facebook. I'm shocked to hear of her passing! She was such a nice lady and so very helpful every time you needed anything. I've walked in her store when I needed help with gifts for many occasions. She would walk me around the store and pick out the perfect gifts, gift wrap them and package them for me with a smile!
