Decades passed and he remembered fine details. He had a good Father/Son relationship with his son Marc. He was proud of his many talents one example is his photographic skills. Whenever he needed an extra hand Marc was always there. Doug never needed a calendar to know when his favorite teams Syracuse Orange and NY Yankees were playing, Tracie and her family were vigilant in staying on top of it for him. They had many good talks about them. He always looked forward to her good cooking too. He enjoyed watching Cait as she developed riding talents and horse shows. Now she is passing on those skills to her children. He dabbled in cooking& was exceptional with his scalloped potatoes and bread pudding, He always had gold dollars to give for good report cards and stressed the importance of a good education, which his grandchildren have made him proud. He was a very proud Grandfather to his 6 grandchildren and his 4 step grandchildren watching them grow to who they are today.
