James and Larry and I graduated from UFA in 1961 and by happenstance ended up together in Basic training in the air force at Lackland AFB, Texas. We went our separate ways after that. I think they went to AP school, I went to tech school in Wichita Falls, Texas then was sent to McCord AFB in Tacoma, Wash. Wanted to go to Griffiss, but when does the service ever listen. Was so glad they didnt, loved the area and it gave me some lifetime memories and friendships My sincere condolences to the family and Larry. The mighty class of UFA, 1961, may be fading but the memories and accomplishments and the families they created will live on as long as they are remembered.
