To Karen, Andy, and Amy,
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of Kelly. Being next-door neighbors of your family on Capital Ave, when you were all young, brings back so many memories. We were friends, babysitters, playmates, and shared many happy memories. Kelly was always happy, smiling, and fun to share time with! I know she will greatly missed by her daughter, all of you, and all the lives she touched. May God bless you with peace and reminders of Kelly’s love for you all ❤️.

Kelly, although it’s been close to 50 years since I last seen you, we were great neighbors. I always loved your personality n attitude and I could still see you riding your bike. I wish we could’ve spent more time together over the years. I always loved you your family, your mother, your brother, and your two sisters. All the times we played up at the state hospital grounds I will always hold a part of you that’s true to me close and I just hope you are now at peace and in the hands of God. Q: How did you meet Kelly?
A: My dear friend, how do I begin- So many memories!!!
More than 20 years ago I met Kelly at Deborah Heart and Lung Cath lab and we worked together. We became friends instantly and we enjoyed each other’s company. We started hanging out together outside of work and I got to meet her daughter Dana and David. One day I told Kelly that I was going to move to Florida and she told me she was going to find a way for me to stay and be forever friends. She decided to play matchmaker and then I was introduced to David’s friend Dale. We started talking and hanging out together. I never expected that we would become so close and I didn’t move to Florida as planned. I ended up staying until Dale retired. We all had some great times together and had fun, riding motorcycles and bar hopping, playing games. Kelly changed my life! Thank you Kelly for Dale. We had 20 wonderful years together. He passed away last year and now you are with him. Someday we will all be together again. Take care of each other and watch over all of us! You will always be loved and missed and all of our memories are forever……. Your forever friend, Linda

Q: What will you never forget about Kelly?
A: Kelly has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Our parents were the best of friends and they and their children always felt like extended family to us. Whenever I think of Kelly, I see that wide, bright smile and hear her laugh. This was Kelly - every time I saw her. EVERY TIME! She made those around her smile and laugh with her. We will all miss Kelly.

To Kelly’s daughter and siblings, Kelly and I were very close in high school. I remember spending a lot of time at the Alsheimer home. Kelly had a very high spirit, was constantly laughing, and I loved being a part of that. We went to our 40th high school graduation together. It was just like old times. Kelly kept saying she wanted us to get matching tattoos and I really wish we had done it at the time. I love her and will really miss her.

Aunt Kelly will always share a special place in my childhood memories. We didn't get to see each other often but when we did it was always extended visits filled with her laughter and playing with all of the kids.
She didn't just visit with the adults but made it a point to spend meaningful time with us kids.
I'll always remember her French Toast that she made every morning for me and Dana when I would come to spend a week with them in the summer.
You will truly be missed.

I first got to know Kelly when we would visit Utica to visit my Dad, Kelly’s brother-in-law. Even though we were extended family, she was always so warm and welcoming, and her sense of fun and joy was palpable from the very beginning. Over the years, this never changed,. Like her mom, Barb, Kelly lit up a room, and we were always lifted by her presence. It is hard to imagine visiting Utica and not seeing her. I am so sorry for your loss.
