Veronica has a special place in my heart. When my wife died years ago, she and my Uncle came down to Maryland to offer support. We sat and talked for hours about our losses and grief. They came every year afterward to visit my Mom and I got to see them every time they were here. What a beautiful soul she was and I am grateful to have called her family. She and my Mom became very close and I last saw her at my Mom's funeral last year. I will miss talking to her on Christmas morning.
