I do not know what took me so long to visit my dear Aunt Winnie's memorial site. Perhaps it was the recent passing of her only sister - my mother Jeanette - that has got me thinking how alone i feel in the world w/all my relatives passed on. I keep in contact with cousin Michael and let him know of the good memories i have of visiting Van Roen Road in my youth: swimming in the pool and enjoying the tomato pie! I know Aunt Winnie is back with Unc Jim and her son David: what a tragic death that was.
